"How can you apply for maternity leave when you're not pregnant" asked Mrs. Idiot's boss.
Mrs. Idiot was getting frustrated with this ongoing conversation and explaining the same thing to her boss again. She tried once more. "Sir, I already explained to you my neighbor is pregnant and that's why I applied for maternity leave".
"But maternity leave is only if the employee herself is pregnant not for any relative or friend. This is an absurd request I cannot approve", replied the exasperated boss.
"Are you saying you don't care about my neighbor's pregnancy? " queried Mrs. I.
"Ofcourse I don't. In fact I don't even know her" the boss said.
"You don't know her?" asked Mrs. I?
"No, ofcourse not" said the boss, surely.
"Are you sure you don't know her? " Insisted Mrs. I?
Keeping his temper under control, the boss said, " I am absolutely and completely sure I don't know your neighbor or have ever met her"
"Me too" smiled Mrs. I.
"Leave sanctioned" the boss said approving the application.
